They have their main lodge strategically located where Pelican Lake and Abram Lake join so guests can fish both lakes for Musky. You will also have water access to Minnitaki Lake and Lac Seul. They have fully equipped lakefront housekeeping cottages that range from two to five bedrooms. They also have a fly-in outpost camp and boat-to outpost camps with great Musky fishing. Musky are most common in the 35" to 45" range but in this water system there are many Musky exceeding 50" that get caught and released. The thicker-girth fish can exceed forty pounds. As all Musky hunters know; how many Musky you catch in a day is dependant on the stability of the weather. This water system is considered one of the top Musky fishing destinations in Ontario. The closest settlement is Sioux Lookout, Ontario. They also offer fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Perch and Whitefish.
Lac Seul Outpost Lodge
features world class fishing. Muskie populations have been increasing for many years and now Lac Seul has emerged as one of the more interesting Muskie destinations in Ontario. 99% of people fishing on Lac Seul are not fishing for Muskie so the Muskie potential is not known. Muskie are still not a dominant species in Lac Seul but guests catch Muskie in the 35 to 43-inch range while fishing for other species. Many big monsters over 50 inches get caught. In 2009, two 60-inch Muskie were reported being caught and released on Lac Seul. This is a destination for catching big muskie, not lots of Muskie. Lac Seul Outposts has beautiful lakefront cottages and fantastic fishing for other species.
