Sioux Lookout Floating Lodges is located near Sioux Lookout and on the shores of Lac Seul. Lac Seul is one of the best Walleye fishing lakes in the world. High numbers of Walleyes including big fat trophy Walleyes up to 10 pounds are common with a few 15 to 20-pound Walleyes reported every year. Lac Seul also has outstanding Muskie with 2x 60-inches reported in 2008, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass fishing. Accommodations are on giant 68-foot houseboats, which are called Floating Lodges. Houseboats are equipped with a special multi-fishing-boat towing system so you can literally find hotspots and camp there as long as you want. You can explore the lake without having to drive all the way back to a camp at night. The houseboats are fully equipped and just as impressive as the fantastic fishing.

Lac Seul Outpost Lodge features world class fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie and Smallmouth Bass in a remote region of Lac Seul. Muskie populations have been increasing for many years and now Lac Seul has emerged as one of the top trophy Muskie destinations in Ontario. Muskie are most common in the 35 to 43-inch range but many big monsters over 50 inches get caught. In 2009, two 60-inch Muskie were reported being caught and released on Lac Seul. Lac Seul is considered the best Walleye fishing lakes in Ontario with high numbers of Walleyes as well as big trophy Walleyes. It's not uncommon to catch over 80 Walleyes in a day. Many customers bring in Walleyes between 30 and 34 inches, which can be anywhere from 7 to 12 pounds. Northern Pike fishing is excellent with the back bays being stuffed with Northern Pike as well as many trophy Northern Pike being caught. Lac Seul is a labyrinth of islands and waterways with lots of Musky Cabbage, Wild Rice, Lily Pads and Pickerel Weed. It's the perfect conditions for Northern Pike to grow big and proliferate in great numbers. Guests catch more 20-pound Pike than most lakes that are called top Northern Pike lakes. Smallmouth Bass are not a dominant species in Lac Seul but there are some monsters in the lake. www.lacseuloutposts.com/
