Clearwater Lodge
is located on Clearwater Lake near Emo, Ontario, which is a chain of 20 lakes including Pipestone Lake. The water that their guests enjoy is stuffed with Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout. High numbers of big Walleyes and Bass are available as well as Monster Muskie and Northern Pike in the 15 to 25-pound range, which are frequent. The deep holes in the open areas of the lake hold Lake Trout of many sizes, which includes good-eating sizes up to 30-pound Lunkers. Pan fish such as Perch and Crappie are also available. Some of the best fishing in Ontario can be found on Clearwater Lake. Their main camp has clean and comfortable lakeside cabins and is only accessible by floatplane or boat. Big Moose Camp
is located on Lake Nosbonsing, which is also called Muskie Lake, and is near Corbeil, Ontario and open year round. Lake Nosbonsing is best known for good numbers and trophy size Muskie and Northern Pike. Muskie are fairly common in the 35 to 45 inch range. Pike are common in the 30 to 40 inch range. This lake is also stuffed with herring. Lakes with Herring produce big Walleyes over 10 pounds. The lake is also a rocky lake with swarms of Smallmouth Bass along the shore and are common ut to 4.5 pounds with 5 and 6-pounders available. The back weedy bays are stuffed with Northern Pike and Largemouth Bass. Northern Pike can be found in all sizes up to 20 pounds. Largemouth Bass can reach 8 pounds. Lac Seul Outpost Lodge features world class fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie and Smallmouth Bass in a remote region of Lac Seul. Muskie populations have been increasing for many years and now Lac Seul has emerged as one of the top trophy Muskie destinations in Ontario. Muskie are most common in the 35 to 43-inch range but many big monsters over 50 inches get caught. In 2009, two 60-inch Muskie were reported being caught and released on Lac Seul. Lac Seul is considered the best Walleye fishing lakes in Ontario with high numbers of Walleyes as well as big trophy Walleyes. It's not uncommon to catch over 80 Walleyes in a day. Many customers bring in Walleyes between 30 and 34 inches, which can be anywhere from 7 to 12 pounds. Northern Pike fishing is excellent with the back bays being stuffed with Northern Pike as well as many trophy Northern Pike being caught. Lac Seul is a labyrinth of islands and waterways with lots of Musky Cabbage, Wild Rice, Lily Pads and Pickerel Weed. It's the perfect conditions for Northern Pike to grow big and proliferate in great numbers. Guests catch more 20-pound Pike than most lakes that are called top Northern Pike lakes. Camp Manitou is located on an island at the southern end of Lower Manitou Lake and in a highly productive part of the lake, which is called the Manitou Straight. Lower Manitou Lake is one of the top Muskie lakes in the world with great numbers as well as great sizes. Guests consistently catch Muskie over 50 inches with a few that have been over 55 inches. Muskie are more common in the 35 to 45-inch range. Lower Manitou Lake is also stuffed with Monster orthern Pike, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass and some weedy bays with Largemouth Bass. They have outstanding fishing for Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Perch. Dinorwic Lake is attached to Wabigoon Lake via the Wabigoon River. Walleyes reach 12 pounds, Muskie over 50 inches are caught by guests each year. The bays and rocky points are swarming with Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass and ranging from good eating sizes right up to monster trophies. The have boat caches on wilderness lakes for excellent Walleye and Lake Trout fishing. The have clean housekeeping cottages, which range in size to accommodate groups of 2 to 16 people. Pigeon Lake Resort is located at the north end of Pigeon Lake and near the mouth of Nogies Creek. From their camp, you can fish all of Pigeon Lake and Buckhorn Lake for some of the best Muskie fishing Southern Ontario / Central Ontario has to offer. Pigeon Lake and Buckhorn Lake are shallow and weedy but still have open water so it's easy to troll for long distances beside heavy weed cover. Muskie are common in the 20 to 35-inch range. There are lots of Muskie in the 36 to 42 inch range but a little less frequent. On occasion Muskie around 50-inches get caught. There are Walleye and bass in the lake as well. Muskie are common in the 20 to 35-inch range. There are many Muskie in the 36 to 42-inch range but a little less frequent. On occasion Muskie around 50-inches get caught. Muskie fishing is hot all summer long. Traditionally the fall is the best time but not on the Kawartha Lakes. There is always hot Muskie action on Pigeon Lake all summer long.
