Muskie populations have been increasing for many years and now Lac Seul has emerged as one of the top trophy Muskie destinations in Ontario. Muskie are most common in the 35 to 43-inch range but many big monsters over 50 inches get caught. In 2009, two 60-inch Muskie were reported being caught and released on Lac Seul. Lac Seul is considered the best Walleye fishing lakes in Ontario with high numbers of Walleyes as well as big trophy Walleyes. It's not uncommon to catch over 80 Walleyes in a day.
