Kawartha Lakes Muskie Fishing: Pigeon Lake & Buckhorn Lake Pigeon Lake Resort is located at the north end of Pigeon Lake and near the mouth of Nogies Creek. From their camp, you can fish all of Pigeon Lake and Buckhorn Lake for some of the best Muskie fishing Southern Ontario / Central Ontario has to offer. Pigeon Lake and Buckhorn Lake are shallow and weedy but still have open water so it's easy to troll for long distances beside heavy weed cover. Muskie are common in the 20 to 35-inch range. There are lots of Muskie in the 36 to 42 inch range but a little less frequent. On occasion Muskie around 50-inches get caught. There are Walleye and bass in the lake as well.
